Approach to Treatment

The theoretical orientation that best defines my approach to counseling is Psychodynamic theory. Pyschodynamic theory revolves around the unconscious mind and how an individual's past experiences can shape our present and future experiences, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. While this is my main theoretical orientation, I will adjust my approach according to my client's needs.
